Your privacy is the foundation of Birdy.
Birdy stores all your data locally on your iPhone using AsyncStorage. Your cycle dates, phase information, and saved recipes never leave your device. We have no servers, no database, and no way to access your information.
You don't need to create an account to use Birdy. We don't collect your name, email address, or any personal information.
Birdy does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party SDKs that collect your data. We don't know who you are, and we prefer it that way.
Birdy loads recipe photos from Unsplash (unsplash.com) and recipe content from Google Sheets. When this content loads, your device makes requests to Unsplash's and Google's servers. These are the only external connections Birdy makes. Their respective privacy policies apply to these requests.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, your fitness data is read directly from HealthKit on your device. This data is never sent anywhere outside your phone.
Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app deletes all your data. There is nothing to request, export, or delete from our side, because we never had it.
